Making an Appointment

I am a Psychotherapist, Writer and Teacher based in London. I’m an Advanced Accredited Schema Therapist, Trainer & Supervisor and an Internal Family Systems-Trained Therapist with an online private practice, so I provide therapy and supervision for people throughout the world via Zoom. I specialise in working with the impact of childhood trauma, but help people with a wide range of issues including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship and parenting difficulties, a lack of confidence or low-self esteem, substance abuse, eating disorders and personality problems.

And I provide supervision and training for mental-health professionals – teaching counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists how to incorporate theory and techniques from schema therapy, as well as other trauma-informed models, into their practice.

Having first trained in cognitive therapy, in recent years, I have come to specialise in schema therapy, which can tackle deep-rooted problems such as personality problems, eating disorders, substance abuse, long-term or recurrent episodes of depression, chronic worry, trauma, panic attacks and agoraphobia, or anxiety disorders such as health anxiety or OCD.

You may also have difficulties in your relationships, or just find day-to-day life challenging and upsetting. Even if you have tried other therapies and nothing has helped, schema therapy can often make a big difference – it can be deeply healing and transformative, even for the most hard-to-treat problems.

I am also an Internal Family Systems-Trained Therapist, having completed Level 1 and Level 2 trainings in IFS. I increasingly use IFS techniques and ways of understanding psychological problems with my clients, as IFS is such a warm, compassionate and powerful approach to helping people with their mental health.

My teaching

I am a meditation teacher for Insight Timer, where you will find a wealth of resources (mostly free/donation-based) including courses, breathing techniques, guided imagery, mindfulness and self-compassion practices and much more. If you are struggling with your mental health – and especially if you have experienced trauma – practices like these are a crucial part of your healing journey, whether you are also having therapy or not.

I teach webinars and workshops for people struggling with their mental health, as well as writing my blog, which you can read on this site – sign up using the form below to get my latest posts delivered straight to your inbox. My website also provides a huge amount of free information about all aspects of psychology, psychotherapy, mental health and wellbeing.
